Lean In Recovery Center was created by men in long-term recovery.
As men in long-term recovery, we noticed a desperate need for more quality recovery living communities for men graduating from quality treatment programs. In our work cultivating relationships with exemplary primary treatment centers, we recognized an opportunity to create an extraordinary atmosphere for continued personal, professional, and spiritual growth for men in early recovery.

Jake Giffuni, Clinical Operations Director, LAC, MBA
Jake is a Licensed Addiction Counselor with his own background in recovery, he has also completed an MBA with a focus in healthcare administration. Working for multiple programs throughout his career, Jake has participated in the full spectrum of possible treatment environments. His experience with medical detox, primary care wilderness treatment and outpatient programs has lead him to feel unequivocally that continued care is an important step towards achieving self-efficacy in one’s long term recovery.
Having worked for the last 4 years as a therapist at a leading wilderness program, Jake is a huge proponent of delivering evidence-based treatment from a biopsychosocial approach rather than the disease model or insurance driven models. He finds success working with clients with multiple treatment failures, chronic relapsing, severely disruptive dual diagnosis issues, and treatment resistant symptoms. Having completed the 80hr Dialectical Behavioral Therapy training with New Roads Behavioral health, Jake is adept at working with the co-occurring substance abuse cases which we see increasing in frequency on an annual basis. Outside of work, Jake can be found in the mountains spending time with his wife and their 3 dogs.
