We do Serious Stuff.
Our model is simple and successful. We have not reinvented the wheel. Amenities are important and nice, and we have that, but our focus is always on what we believe really matters––developing connection to one’s heart.
LIRC offers a high level of programming and professionalism within the national recovery community.
From location to programming, pricing to operational philosophy LIRC is experienced, committed, professional, energetic, driven, and best of all operates from one single motto – Do The Right Thing.
We provide aspects of programming that are needed for recovery and provide avenues for fun in sobriety. We help men understand that recovery is a blessing and an adventure. Our amenities are high quality. Our programming is suited to those we care for.
our model
Our model is simple and successful: we focus on a collaborative experience that empowers residents to obtain peace of mind and long-term, sustainable recovery. Our focus is to guide men towards the best version of themselves, help them gain traction, and address a variety of needs.
• Mindfulness & spiritual growth
• Adventure
• Career progression
• Academic goals
• Life skills & service
our process
Our Process: Set goals and orient oneself - Collaborate with the community and staff - Identify areas of Personal Development - Implement in the real world - Refine the process - Repeat. We have found that time and time again, our process provides awareness, community support, and real-time feedback for our clients while they navigate the transformative landscape of early recovery.
Realizing that recovery from a substance use disorder is the beginning of the fun and not the end is a huge relief to most people. This is why we place such an emphasis on creating a personal vision for what your life can be.
We encourage you to find your “why” and find joy in living a sober life. If you don’t have a goal yet (not uncommon), we provide many outlets to help get you going.
Where You’ll Live
In Missoula, Montana – you’ll find solitude, wilderness, adventure, clean air, health, and healing.
The air is different here. From “Keep Missoula Weird” bumper stickers, pronouncing it Mis-SOUL-a, or calling it “The ‘Zoo”, Missoula has character. You’ll find solitude, wilderness and adventure only minutes from gourmet restaurants, local shops and a surprising music scene. It’s a place surrounded by mountains, history, and culture.
Skiing and snowboarding, fly fishing, backpacking deep true wilderness, running rivers, incredible mountain biking are just a few things to do within minutes of LIRC.
The population of Missoula is just over 75,000 people. Its a great “small big” city, with plenty of job opportunity, public transportation, sporting events, live music, an amazing culinary scene and plenty of cool little coffee shops to relax and enjoy the company of friends in. Missoula is one of the greatest places to live in the United States.
In addition to all this there is a very active recovery scene, the University of Montana, and amazing wilderness right in our backyard!
